I have sent some decoys to the PFDA show in CA recently and this pair of redheads came home winners. They also took 2nd place in the Ward Brothers World Championships in 2006.
The bluebill did okay too and I was happy with the antiqued Eider.

What people are saying about the decoys and service.
Hi John,
The decoys made it safe and sound - Thank You! It has been a pleasure doing business with you; had it been through eBay I would have definitely provided positive feedback. You do very, very nice work, beautiful bold birds. I carve a little myself. My work does not come out so striking. I will be
looking for your work in the future. Once again - Thank You
Paul

Subject: Got the Decoys
Thanks John, the decoys arrived in good order. I actually owe you an extra buck for the shipping though.
They look great! I showed them to my buddy who has carved about 100 of his own birds, and he had high praise for your work. He agreed that your
prices are quite fair as well.
I will be placing an order in the future for 4 more blacks, a hen and drake mallard, and either 2 or 4 green wing teal. I have to save up a bit
first. I assume you work on them in the spring and summer. Also, do you carve Woodies? I know painting the drakes is pretty demanding. Just wondering.
Thanks again and I will get back with you in the future for the order.
Joel

Mature specimen (Anas rubripes) arrived to east central Minnesota yesterday. He is in truly excellent shape, and obviously enjoyed a superb wintering ground. Body coloring, weight, and anatomy reflect the qualities representative of a true black duck, with zero indication of any mallard inter-breeding. With many local hen black ducks currently unattached, he will most assuredly pair-bond within the next 10 days. Will advise as the situation develops...and kudos to you for keeping the waterfowling spirit & legacy alive!

John -
Received the bufflehead today, looks great!
thanks.

Got the bird today, and my associate at work wanted to trim his wings he looked so real!
If you can fool a veterinarian, you can fool a Bluewing at 6:30 in the duckblind.
Thanks, and great job and super turnaround.

Just wanted to let you know the drake was setting on my back porch when I got home tonight. It is a truly beautiful bird John. I've seen a lot, and this one ranks up there with the best. I was looking at your "accolades" section just before I wrote this note. You humble yourself too much. It is obvious that You have some really great skills at taking inanimate cork and wood and making it into as close to a living critter as possible. Your decoys reflect the deep interest you have in the outdoor world.
I really respect your dedicated interest in maintaining the waterfowl hunting sport, and introducing new folks (young and old) to the wetland world. It's folks like you that are going to make sure the interest is carried on.
Thanxx for the opportunity (yes the opportunity) to share your dedication through this decoy. We definitely have to get together this fall to chat over a goose field.
looking forward to more contact, and to pick up a few more decoys in the future.
Thanxx again,
Pete Squibb
